Potty Training

WARNING:  The following pictures just may be gross.  Sorry, Mom!

So, let's start at the beginning.  I began potty training Jenna a few weeks ago.  I did it for a few and a half days.  I really can't remember.  I can remember that I decided to put Jenna back in diapers and pull-ups after I delayed taking her to the bathroom (15-minute increments) for a minute or two and then had poo to clean off my carpet.  I was done with the messes.

Fast forward a few more days.  Jenna doesn't really want to keep a diaper on.  She will either be changing her pull-ups every few minutes, or deciding to go commando.  It was on one of these days that I looked out into the backyard to seen Jenna half naked.  I had just put a new diaper on her.  (I later found the very much clean diaper in the trash by the back door.)  She was playing on the slide with her naked bum in the air.  It was so cute that I just had to take a picture.  I ran and grabbed the camera.  By the time I got back, this is what I found.  The quality's not that great.  I was peeking at a really bad angle through my blinds & a dirty window.  You'll get the idea.

Fast forward another few days.  We were at church two Sunday's ago.  During Sacrament Meeting, Jenna kept saying she needed to go potty.  I finally took her.  (Okay, okay, I admit it.  All the water I had drank that morning was catching up with me!)  And she went #1 in the potty.  For the first time!  The next day, Memorial Day, she ended up doing #2 in the potty at Randy's brother's house.  So, I've still kept her in diapers & pull-ups & have given up on the fight to keep them on.  She probably has success 40% of the time.  I'm going to let her go with it & I'm not going to stress about it.  I figure she's well on her way to figuring it out.
