The Friday before Memorial Day, Randy visited family graves in American Fork.
On the actual day, we decided to go to the Payson City Cemetery to visit the graves of some of my grandparents. (Think pioneer times.) I felt it would be a shame for us to live so close and to never visit their graves.
We were blessed that the sun decided to appear and the rain stopped long enough for us to visit.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that all of the family graves we visited had already been visited by others who had left flowers. I only wish I would have remembered to bring a broom (& perhaps some cleaners!...see below) to clean off their tombstones.
