I love all seasons, including winter, but I'm not ready to give up my garden yet. Well, it just may be too late. We had snow for several hours this afternoon. It didn't stick a whole lot, just to the plants and grass. It is cold here today & we turned on our heater for the first time tonight.
However, we did come up for the perfect solution for this chilly night, Orange Creme Hot Chocolate...and for those of you wondering, I did go to the Relief Society General Broadcast, but the signal was lost after about 20 minutes and they sent us home. How's that for short? I'll have to catch it on KBYU later if Randy will give up control of the remote.

Hey... at least you went to the RS broadcast. My friend and I showed up for the dinner, but then decided to go to the pie kitchen instead for some much needed girl time. Yeah... serving the Lord is only optional around here. Just don't tell my mom.
Ollie, you know your mom reads my blog, right? ;)
uh oh....
Well, you did better than me with going to the broadcast too. Anthony and I thought we'd have a fun evening and go to a high school play with Sabrina. It didn't turn out being an enjoyable evening at all. I would have much rather been at the broadcast. Sabrina was having a good time, clapping, laughing, and hardly even cried, but apparently others thought she was too much of a distraction. Needless to say we got kicked out...of an ameture high school play! I had never been so frustrated, all we were trying to do was something fun for her, as a family. "Wholesome recreational activites" like the proclamation says. I had a huge awakening as to how hard it really is going to be to raise a family in todays world. People are not acceptable of families and the Lord's ways. As a young kid, I remember going to high school plays as a family lots. Oh well, it's a memory Sabrina obviously can't have around here! Hey, I can't believe you've already had snow! Brrr, but your hot choclate looked delicious!
