Driving

*There are two blue vehicles above.  One comes every week and idles on the street from 6:40 until 7am before it begins it's job for the day.  On this particular day, it needed special assistance & was idling outside for an additional 30 minutes.  The other blue vehicle starts every day & in the winter usually idles for 20 minutes (often while I'm still in bed) before going anywhere.  Both are loud & drive me absolutely crazy.

*I rarely drive with my hands at "10 and 2".  It's usually more like "4" or "8".  Ten and two feels so strange & dorky to me, probably because I've never really driven like that.

*My family once drove for nearly 24 hours straight from our home in NM to visit cousins in MS.  We stopped only for gas, potty & once in Shreveport, LA to eat breakfast & visit old friends of my dad.  No TV in the car, just good company (smelly little brothers & a cranky older sister on the return trip), coolers full of food, and a cargo rack on top of the minivan.  For some reason, someone wasn't happy when she sat on a Junior Mint in white jeans & the rest of us laughed at her.  Good times!

We've got some loud idling trucks around here too. It drives me batty!

You love the little blue car! :) I can hear that one too. I'm just glad I don't hear their music anymore.

Hey now! There was a LOT more to that story, but it isn't blog worthy. You'll have to call me to find out about it!

Yeah, Dix, I remember. Too much detail for the blog, though. :)

I remember that! It seemed like the trip went remarkable well, actually!
