Whirlwind
I swore that my Christmas & the days surrounding it were going to be peaceful. It's been so nice having Randy home, but things seem to be crazier than ever. Alan & Heather stayed the night a few days before Christmas, and Heather made us a Polish dinner. I baked homemade rolls, made real mashed potatoes, and a homemade dessert for Christmas dinner with Randy's family. Sydney and Jenna have both had stomach bugs, which has forced me to do tons of laundry. We're getting ready to have guests in our house again this coming weekend, too. On top of all of that, I've had bad headaches everyday & a painful, swollen gland in my neck. I have managed to get my Christmas decorations put away--HOORAY! My house is fairly clean, but more needs to be done. Unfortunately, I don't think things will calm down for at least another week. Let's hope I can make it!

I hear you on the stress of getting things ready after the holidays too! Nick's parents are coming tomorrow and I always feel this huge amount of pressure to have my house perfect so they can know I am taking good care of their son! I finally got Christmas put away today, but I still have laundry to finish and bathrooms to clean! Hang in there!
Way to go with Christmas put away. My house is still a wreck and it sure is hard to be peaceful when there's chaos all around. And you guys have been sick too, how nasty. i hope your the swollen gland isn't too serious, and good luck!
