Flying Solo

Randy returned last night from spending a few days in Vancouver, BC. While gone, the girls and I went to Grandpa Chipman's 90th birthday party. After the party, we went with Randy's family to celebrate our nephew, Andrew's 7th birthday at Chuck E Cheese. It was an enjoyable afternoon, but all of us girls were exhausted when we got home.

Church, now that was a fun one! Luckily, our church isn't until the afternoon, so I had plenty of time to get us all ready. I was blessed to have a couple sit next to me who didn't have any children, so they happily played with Jenna. She is such a busy girl and won't sit still. I was trying my hardest to keep Sydney reverent. The rest of church went pretty smoothly, but Randy is such at help when it's over by always getting Sydney. Because I'm the RS Secretary, it usually takes me a while to get out. Yesterday was no exception (we went over by 5 minutes). I had things I needed to discuss with the president and I needed to grab something...but I also had a little Sunbeam waiting for me. Thank goodness, the president brought what I needed by to my house & talked with me there. Needless to say, I was exhausted after church. Here's a picture of Sydney's hair that I promised. I had a hard time getting her to cooperate.

Randy returned home in the evening. I always love it when he arrives home. I sure love him! After dinner, we had the Hackett's over to play cards. Our girls were SO tired, so we didn't get to play as long as I would have liked, but it was nice anyway.
