*Still having computer problems. We think it might be a problem with our internet provider, but are a little perplexed. Sometimes the internet works, sometimes it doesn't. But it doesn't seem to be affecting our IP phone, which is really strange. So, no pictures with this post, because who knows if I'll even be able to get a connection!
*Our Bed & Breakfast is closed for the summer season. My mom, sister-in-law (Heather), and nephew (Travis) were here for 3 nights last week. My sister, Dixie, was also here for 1 night. It was good to have them here, but even the neighbors are commenting that we're like a Motel 6. Thanks, Wes.
*Sydney went to Idaho with my mom & Heather & Travis last week for 3 days. She had fun withher cousins, Jake & Lander. Jenna missed her terribly.
*Heather, my mom, and I hosted a baby shower for my sister, Kelsey, on Saturday. It was a small turnout, but I thought it went really well. Fun games, yummy food, and presents for Kelsey!
*Randy's extended family also had a reunion on Saturday. He took the girls, and then I joined up with them after it was all over (being that I was hosting the baby shower at our house).
*I have tons of tomatoes and don't know what to do with them. I had thought about making spaghetti sauce, but don't have a pressure cooker & I don't think my stove would allow me to do it, even if I did. In reality, I just don't feel like canning. Maybe I'll do stewed tomatoes and just freeze them? I'll have to buy the containers, but it seems like one less step than with canning.

Geeze Louise! that's a lot of people! Definitely shut that operation down for a while!!! lol!
Thanks for the encouraging words over on my blog about the triathlon. I agree, I really wish we lived closer together too. You know, KY is one cheap place to live!!!!
dang! I dont even have anything to trade for tomatoes (unless you *really* want zuchinni LOL! Our garden, 21 tomato plants, are producing NoThInG. We have only had some grape & cherry tomatoes! We have flowers... but not a stich of friut red green or otherwise! Weird huh?! Enjoy them for me! *lucky!* (In my best Napolean Dinamite LOL)
you don't need a pressure cooker to do spaghetti sauce. email me and I will fill you in. In the mean time, freeze those tomatoes you can't get to right away. It will make the process go faster.
I'm with you on freezing. I just bought a deep freezer ($198) so that I could freeze instead of can. If you end up with lots of green tomatoes when it frosts, let me know and I'll tell you what to do with them! (No, don't fry them.)
sounds like something wes would say :)
