This crazy creature, aka Jenna, hurt her left foot jumping on the neighbors trampoline Tuesday night. I took her in for x-rays on Wednesday, but nothing is broken. She has had to crawl, walk on her knees & be carried around for the last4 days. The poor girl has spent a lot of time laying around & being less active. She is finally starting to slowly walk on her foot this afternoon.
Victim: our
one cantaloupe. Suspect: Jenna. I found a limp cantaloupe plant in my garden Tuesday morning. After watering it all day, I checked and found that the stem had been picked clean off the of the roots. We are mourning the loss, as cantaloupe is one of our favorite things from the garden. So sad that what can be a big, beautiful, promising plant one day can be a pile of limp leaves and immature fruit the next.
Randy hiked Mt. Nebo alone this morning. (I don't condone his hiking alone!) As he made his way up Payson Canyon, there were a lot of animals, so he was driving very slowly. I guess an elk didn't really care that he was around, because it nearly ran into him. He swerved one way, and luckily the elk swerved the other, which limited the damage to just the mirror. So glad that Randy's safe and this was the only damage. Did you know it will cost $250 to repair, though? I think we may be sporting a broken mirror for a while.
This talkative creature, aka Sydney, shared a little too much today. It was after noon and I still hadn't showered. Our neighbor (a man) knocked at the door. Being in my pj's and without a bra, I told her I wasn't going to answer the door. She went to the front window & told him, "My mom can't come to the door. She's not dressed and doesn't have her bra on." I was a tad bit mortified. I guess we need to train her a bit...

Keri look on Ebay for a replacement mirror. I did the same thing to my Yukon mirror and Scott found a replacement on Ebay and Scott installed it himself. Cost 50 bucks total!

HAHA! That's too funny. Sydney's a little too smart for her own good sometimes! What a cute little stinker! So sad about the cantaloupe and mirror though. Is Jenna still out of commission? I feel so bad for her.
poor jenna, those trampolines can be dangerous. don't worry cantaloupe is only 3 lbs for 93 cents at maceys right now. go stock up :) And good job sydney for telling it like it is ha ha ha ha ha ha

Something similar happened to my mirror several years ago, except it involved me running into a pole. Wish I would have thought about ebay cause it was about $300 to replace....ouch! Sydney cracks me up. And I can't believe how much Kourt and Jenna are alike. My mom's watermelon plant felt Kourt's wrath a few weeks ago.
Awesome!! I am LOL. Jenna...I dont know what to say about that girl. She is always up to something.
