Onions

We recently harvested our onions, and we couldn't be more proud.

They are beautful!...and they would have been bigger if a swimming pool hadn't blown into the garden and crushed their tops.

We now have 11-1/2 pounds of onions for our food storage!!

Wow, so nice! I bet it feels good to know you grew them yourselves!

Man I am so jealous...those look wonderful! What do you do with that many?

Vanessa--I put them in pantyhose! Drop one in, tie a knot, drop another one in, etc. And then I hang them in our crawlspace to keep them cool. Wa-la, there's my onion storage for the year

That is absolutley wonderful! You guys have such a green thumb. Just think...your breath can smell like onions for months at no cost!

So those onions will literally last for a year without getting moldy and such? Just curious, I need to know these things!
